TUBEBUDDY AT VIDSUMMIT 2025

A booth that turned foot traffic into engagement

VidSummit 2025 (Oct 7–9, Dallas) brought together 4,000+ creators, marketers, and industry leaders focused on growth, AI workflows, and scaling creator businesses. With a packed expo floor and constant competition for attention, TubeBuddy needed more than a standard booth — it needed an experience.

The Idea

We transformed the booth into an interactive racing experience built around a Mario Kart tournament, paired with a visual system inspired by classic video game pixel art. The look tapped into nostalgia while instantly signaling “play,” making the booth approachable, fun, and hard to ignore.

Instead of a static presence, we created a destination.

What I Designed

  • 10’ custom booth backdrop

    • Anchored the space with bold, pixel-inspired visuals

    • Doubled as a backdrop for filming creator and social content

  • Mario Kart tournament + leaderboard

    • Top 5 scores displayed in-booth to drive competition and repeat visits

    • Gameplay naturally attracted both players and spectators

  • Branded staff t-shirts

    • Pixel-art graphics tied into the racing theme for instant recognition on the show floor

  • Signage, buttons & flyers

    • Consistent pixel-art treatment across all touchpoints

    • Simple product info and a show-specific offer for post-event follow-up

  • Pre-event cross-promotional banner & social posts

    • Extended the pixel-art theme into digital channels to build awareness before the show

Every element worked together to feel cohesive, playful, and unmistakably on-brand, while reinforcing TubeBuddy’s role as a serious growth partner for creators.

  • Gamification turned casual foot traffic into active participation

  • Pixel-art visuals created instant nostalgia and clarity of purpose

  • Multi-purpose design increased ROI (booth + content backdrop)

  • Simple offers supported post-event conversion
